A Liebster Award

Hey there everyone! I have been kind of taking an impromptu break from blogging, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things soon. Lovely Gabrielle from a dabbler's journal nominated me and some others for a Liebster award. A Liebster award is a way for blogs with less that two-hundred followers to gain new readers. And it's quite fun to get to know the other bloggers a bit better.

The Rules

-Link back to the blogger who nominated you (Gabrielle from a dabbler's journal ).
- Answer the eleven questions the blogger gave you.
- Nominate other bloggers (of an undefined amount--as many or as few as you'd like).
- Create eleven new questions for them to answer.
- Notify the new nominees of their award.

 Gabrielle's Questions

  1. What book do you wish you had written? Hm... Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. Such genius.
  2. What's your opinion of Pinterest? I think pinterest is a great place to go for inspiration, recipes, tips and other things, but it's also very important to remember not to compare yourself to what you see there. But yes, I quite enjoy it.
  3. What three words would describe you? Well, my friend tells me I'm gentle-spirited and compassionate, and I'll say observant.
  4. How did you name your blog? Well, I guess you could say my mom named it. I'm perfectly awful at coming up with names, and one day I was lamenting the fact that I couldn't think of a name for my blog. Then my mom suggested The Primrose Lass, which is actually the name of an Irish tune, and I really liked the name, so here it is. :)
  5. Do you like brussel sprouts? No.
  6. What is the quality or virtue that you most admire in your best friend? She's always there to help and support those she loves.
  7. What myers-briggs temperament are you? Apparently I'm an ISFJ-T. Which means that my mind is mostly introverted, my energy is observant, my nature is feeling, my tactics are judging, and my identity is turbulent. And after reading up on those last two, I have discovered that they sound worse than they are. :) Oh, and if any of you fancy it- please take the quiz and tell me what you are in the comments!
  8. Which book in the Bible is your favorite? I really like Romans and the Psalms.
  9. If you could learn to speak any language, what would it be? French. I took it in high school, and then kind of lapsed out of it, but I'm hoping to begin again. I think it is such a pretty language and I also really want to visit France.
  10. What was the last book you read? The Endless Steppe by Esther Hautzig. I think it was my fifth time reading it. Before that was Mere Christianity.
  11. Do you like or dislike meeting new people? Well, the actual  introduction and first conversation I usually find rather awkward but after that is usually enjoyable.

My Questions

(this part was hard, ha :))
  1. What is your least favorite food?
  2. Who is your biggest role model?
  3. What is the weirdest or scariest thing that ever happened to you?
  4. Who are your two favorite authors?
  5. How do you like to relax after a stressful day of work or school?
  6. What is your favorite quote?
  7. Would you time travel to the past or the future? Why?
  8.  What is your dream job?
  9. Do you prefer movies or TV shows?
  10. Would you rather write a paper or give an oral presentation on a subject?
  11. What is your favorite holiday?
