This morning I somehow almost forgot to eat breakfast before leaving for school, burned my finger on a pot, brought some beautiful peonies in from the garden before they got ruined by the rain, and then screamed when a huge spider crawled out from the lovely petals, (right after I practically stuck my nose in the petals to smell their delicious scent) got my feet wet because I wore lace-y shoes to walk to my classroom in the pouring rain ( my school doesn't have a place for you to drop off directly in front of a door. You have to walk everywhere!)
Now I'm printing labels for our upcoming farmer's markets (the printer is going much too slowly), and enjoying a cup of hot tea. Well, it was hot, now it's rather cold.
How is your day going?
Lovely post! I love "everyday" happening. The spider in the flower... *shivers* I know what that's like. The little "Birthday girl" card... did you make that? It's just darling! Hope you're having a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth.
Aw thank you Elizabeth! Yes... spiders aren't my forte, ha! Luckily I had a little brother near by who took the thing outside where it belonged. :) Yes, I made the card! I have really been enjoying card making with fabric lately. :)
