Photo A Day // Week 1

Hello friends! :) So last Tuesday I decided that I would start a Photo a Day project (at least for the month) as a sort of motivation to pick up my camera every day. Turns out that Natasha from Day by Day has a link-up for it every week so I thought I'd jump in!

Oh, and here's some lively+sweet music (Trad Irish of course ;)) if you'd like to listen while you read.

Day 1&2 (because I sorta kinda maybe forgot about it on Wednesday, but took more than one photo on Tuesday so I just combined the days.)
Day 3 // MARCH FOR LIFE 2015// Hooray! It was so fun and went by wayyyy too quickly. I've never been so happy being crushed up against so many strangers before, haha! The first rest-stop we went to was filled to the brim (20+ buses) with pro-lifers. Practically everywhere you looked you saw a nun or a priest, and it is an amazing event. It's awesome to join together with others who are standing up for the lives of the unborn. I highly recommend that if you can, hop on a bus and go next year. :)
Day 4 // I forgot to take a picture on Friday, so instead I'm posting a couple of images from a photoshoot I did with my friends a couple of Fridays ago. I'm super excited to post the pics soon guys because they came out so good!
Day 5// I forgot... cough...all about pictures on Saturday.

Day 6// Sunday I was experimenting with sewing some little girl's dresses.
Day 7// was today, which was spent with coffee, a new book, and math homework.

I'm excited to be doing this project over the next month! I love how it really makes one search for the beauty in small, everyday things.

Be sure to head over to Natasha's blog to see all the other lovely Photo a Day posts!

How was your week?

  1. I love this! I'd feel like a copycat for picking it up now, but this is such a good idea and I really enjoy seeing your pictures...I might have to start in February and call it 334...

  3. This looks like so much fun, I sadly don't get my camera out very much unless I'm taking outfit pictures! I might just join in on the fun. ;) Great pictures, by the way! So pretty!

  4. Oh, I really like that music you put on there! Traditional (NOT modern!) Irish music is my favorite kind! And that song has an Irish harp! If only I had an Irish harp...
I also like your photography! I am also a photographer, and I am a tea-drinker as well. I also want to learn traditional Irish dancing, and wish I had a harp and a fiddle. The only music I play is traditional Irish!

    1. Thank you Clara! The harpist playing in the video is named Michael Rooney and he is one of the best Irish harpists out there! Traditional Irish music is probably my favorite as well. :) Thanks for stopping by!
