This week the weather got nice and warm which called for opened windows. I also tried free-lensing this week and it was tremendous fun!

The rainbow effect here is natural- I was experimenting with free-lensing and this happened. :)
On Saturday I had SATs and then a couple of St. Patrick's day performances.
On Sunday I traveled with my dad and cousin to Franciscan University of Steubenville for a visit! It was a really beautiful drive (see the pictures below- all those mountains!) and the university is a really amazing place.

How was your week?
I love that celtic harp brooch! What exactly is free lensing? I only have a Canon PowerShot SX500, so I cant do as many fun things with the focus as I would like to. Your photography is so beautiful...as always!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Clara! Free-lensing is where you take pictures with a DSLR but remove the lens and shift it around (close to where it attaches to the camera) to obtain interesting focus effects. I was kind of scared to try it at first, for fear of my lens dropping or something, but it is a lot of fun!
DeleteIt sounds like free lensing would be fun, but I would be afraid of dropping my lens. And I can not take the lens off my camera! If I tried, I could probably not get it back on!
