So, now I'm home for the summer, enjoying the lazy summer days... I can't wait for the adventures that are in store. (Some have already happened. Overflowing dishwasher anyone?)

Well hello there... I didn't die
Its been a while. I'm officially finished with my first year of college, which totally flew by! I can't believe how much I've grown and learned and changed since last August. I met so many amazing people, made great friends and learned a lot. Conversations with your besties in the stairwell at 2 am, midnight runs to the chapel to talk to Jesus, jumping in puddles, caramel lattes from the library coffee shop, laughing till you cry in your dorm over terrible philosophy puns because you are way too tired, pepperoni lollipops during finals (don't even ask. and please do yourself a favor and don't try a pepperoni lollipop). And coffee. Gotta have the coffee.
Can I just say it was far beyond what I expected? I was terrified to leave home, but once I got there, I was surprised at how easily I slipped into the routine and enjoyed it. I even enjoyed the school part of it. (most of the time)
So, now I'm home for the summer, enjoying the lazy summer days... I can't wait for the adventures that are in store. (Some have already happened. Overflowing dishwasher anyone?)

It's such a delight to again be reading the thoughts + ponderings of each blogger as they return from college. Happy to see an update from you + to hear that I am not the only one who finds a little too much enjoyment in philosophy puns. #DontGetMeStartedWithThales
